My Walk

So last week Mrs. Elliott discussed with us the effects of walking around before class to get oxygen to our brains, which would in turn able us to focus more in class. At first I was skeptical of this and didn't actually imagine it having any effect on me, however, I realized I was wrong as soon as i sat back down in my chair. When Mrs. Elliott passed out the assignment I immediately began to work on it and was in the zone. I was able to work efficiently and think much more clearly about the task and produce better response, I give this credit to that pre-class walk. Thank-You Mrs. Elliott

  1. I look back on the walk we had to do and I realized that the oxygen that was fed up to my brain in the time of the strenuous activity was proportional to the level of work I did in class. Even though, I usually do try my best within Stephanie Elliott's class, some of the activities she makes us do as second semester seniors seems redundant. Hopefully when I take a longer walk to get to English everyday, the oxygen will be fed to my brain and along side the oxygen, there will a urge to excel in everything she assigns to us.

  3. I totally agree! There is something soothing about a short walk on a slightly cold November day that just get's your brain working. Maybe that's why they give us a 7 minute passing period to get to class; so we can stretch a little!-Brendaa S.

  4. I really am convinced the walk helped, because i am so un-artistic and after that walk i drew probably the best picture ive ever drawn, coincidence or not?
